bongfOOdie

Starting off with the platter of a typical bong is maach(fish curry,fry or maybe steamed) ,dal (pulses),aloo poshtow(potatoes creamed with spices) ,papad .
But since the age of colonialism and other westernization traditions and cultures ,the people of Kolkata and more specially "bongs" have evolved their culinary taste and the array of food is enormous and studded with flavours and blends from across the globe.
International food brands have based some of their centres out here to give us a treat and delights of foodie wonders and it has helped to zingify our taste buds to a new level of extreme.
Be it home,be it school ,be it college,be it at work or be it anywhere ...anybody and everybody will go ga-ga about food and the subtle taste of delicacies.
Let us savour some delicacies out here starting with some Fish delicacies ,since no bong is complete without the "BONG Connection" and that has to be fishes or "maach" !!!





The amount of fishes consumed in Kolkata is enormous and can never be matched elsewhere.
Simply Speaking ,people out here love to cook ,love to eat and love to life!!!
